The Kuwaiti national junior female tennis team participated, for the first time, in the World Cup of junior tennis, known as the Billie Jean King Junior Cup, held in Kuching, Malaysia, from 2-10 March 2025.

The Kuwaiti national junior female tennis team made history by defeating Guam 3/0, which is the first victory of Kuwait’s females in this prestigious competition.

14 nations from the Asia/Oceania region competed in the above tie. Kuwait was represented by players Nourah Marzouq Al-Ghanim, Huda Hamoud Al-Dabbous, and Sumou Hamoud Al-Dabbous, under the guidance of the coach Rudolf Rossouw. The delegation was headed by Mr. Abdul Redha Al-Ghareeb, President of the Kuwait Tennis Federation.
